This film is a response to colonialism & quarantine: a work of reality art that routes time between mental states. It’s made from multiple perspectives and experiences, pieced together by Fox Maxy. There are various qualities of footage: lo-fi camcorders, iPhone, archival images and screen recordings. The content is based on a question of how to keep our communities safe. Is that even possible in this day and age?
We are so honoured to share media-maker-of-the-moment Fox Maxy’s Australian debut of San Diego on our giant Al Fresco screen for Opening Night.
It will then be available for repeat viewings on Cinema 2 In The Basement
If you like Fox Maxy she will also be in conversation with Anpa’o Locke after a special screening of Gush
